9th October 2026, 19:06 CEST
Mantic Games has opened preorders for Halo: Flashpoint’s Covenant expansion, Judgement, and revealed more details of Halo: Campaign Evolved – The Board Game. The October 9 announcement gives players two connected ways to bring the Human-Covenant War to their tables, with December 2026 releases planned.

A full Covenant faction
Judgement adds the Covenant as a playable faction, led by the High Prophet of Regret. It includes new scenarios, faction dice, cards and tokens, plus reversible UNSC and Forerunner terrain. Its battlefield can extend the Spartan Edition board for larger Big Team Battles.
Mantic’s official reveal lists Judgement at €125 and Campaign Evolved at €49, both as December preorders. These are displayed webstore prices; check your delivery destination and final checkout total before ordering. December is the planned release window, rather than a guarantee of arrival before Christmas.
What is inside Judgement?
Wargamer’s October 9 report identifies nine newly introduced miniatures: the Prophet of Regret, another San’Shyuum Prophet, two Honour Guards, an Elite Major, two Rangers and two Hunters. The box also includes ten previously released models representing Grunts, Jackals and Elite Mercenaries.
Those different units give the expansion several possible fireteam combinations. Wargamer describes Flashpoint as a game usually played with a small number of models, with optional rules for larger forces and points-based team construction. Judgement requires access to the base game; buying the faction box alone does not provide the complete starting setup.
A separate campaign on the table
Campaign Evolved supports solo play against game-controlled enemies or head-to-head play with a second person commanding the Covenant. It follows Master Chief through a narrative campaign, using standees for most enemies. Its Master Chief and Sangheili Zealot miniatures also include Flashpoint unit cards, so they can join skirmishes in the other game.
Mantic also confirms that Judgement supplies two additional Campaign Evolved scenarios featuring Hunters. That compatibility is useful for players interested in both boxes, but it is worth choosing your preferred play format first. A small competitive skirmish and a mission-led campaign offer different reasons to gather around the table.
The practical choice is whether your group wants to build opposing forces or follow a sequence of missions. Check which box supplies the rules and components for that format before adding optional miniatures or accessories.
