Satisfactory board game confirms co-op and cuts Collector’s price

13th October 2026, 11:11 CEST

MOOD Publishing has confirmed a full cooperative mode for Satisfactory: The Board Game and cut its Collector’s Pledge to €280 ahead of the crowdfunding campaign scheduled for 13 October at 16:00 CEST. The changes were announced in the publisher’s 12 October update, giving prospective players new information beyond the previously announced launch date.

Co-op joins the factory floor

The publisher says cooperative play will sit alongside the solo mode. It plans a dedicated explanation during the campaign, so the detailed rules for playing together are still to come. That distinction matters for groups hoping to build a factory as a team: the announcement confirms the mode, rather than demonstrating how its finished systems work.

The Gamefound project describes a game for one to four players built around exploration and factory development. Players work as Pioneers for the fictional FICSIT Corporation, gathering resources on an alien planet and expanding production towards the Space Elevator. The tabletop adaptation turns the video game’s industrial setting into an engine-building board game.

A cheaper Collector’s Pledge

The Collector’s Pledge has been reduced by €15 from the previously announced €295. MOOD also clarified that the FICSIT Gift Box comes with every pledge level without an additional charge. Its contents will be revealed as the campaign progresses.

Optional extras include a new biome and additional Pioneer abilities. Players should check the package contents carefully: the wooden meeple upgrade is sold separately and is not included in the Collector’s Pledge. These are campaign prices, rather than a confirmed final delivered cost for every country.

Preview the rules before backing

MOOD has already shared a how-to-play video, Tabletop Simulator preview and draft rulebook. They offer a way to examine the turn structure and factory systems before deciding whether to support the project. The simulator is a preview of the board game, not a replacement for the physical release.

The publisher says the rulebook remains in development and represents the preview sample. Backers should therefore treat the available material as a work in progress, with changes still possible. Crowdfunding opening today also does not mean finished boxes are arriving in shops today.

At the time of writing, the campaign page remains a preview with a countdown to launch. Regional shipping charges, taxes and delivery information should be checked on the live campaign before pledging. For now, the practical news is clear: cooperative play is planned, and the premium pledge is cheaper than it was last week.
